About us: The author & her book
Dr. Viggiano, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), served Kaiser Permanente health care members in the Sacramento, CA area. She participated on Kaiser’s Dual Diagnosis Regional Best Practices committee and, in 2009, earned an Outstanding Service Award. Dr. Viggiano completed her Ph.D. in psychology at Saybrook University in San Francisco.
She is part-time faculty at Saybrook University and the University of Phoenix, and a course developer at the John F. Kennedy University. She also holds certification and consultant status in clinical hypnosis from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Viggiano was in charge of Continuing Education Units for MFTs and Licensed Clinical Social Workers at Kaiser South Sacramento and Elk Grove. Currently in private practice, her recovery journal, Carrying On, is the first and only workbook on pregnancy loss.
